This grand antique Victorian buckle ring was made in Birmingham in 1896. The band depicts a belt and buckle and has a twinkling, old mine cut diamond gypsy set in the centre (approx. 0.12ct).
Belt and Buckle motifs were popular in the Victorian era as their infinite loop and secure buckle symbolised eternal love and a strong unbreakable bond.
It’s modelled in solid 22ct gold and is fully hallmarked within the shank. It’s a rare antique find and would make a wonderful wedding band.
