Pink Leather Clutch

This pretty pink leather vintage handbag from Etra can either be used as a clutch or a handbag with the optional chain strap with a 4.5" drop. The bag has a gate style opening and a nice gold tone "buckle" style clasp on the front. This vintage handbag measures 5 and 1/2 by 10 inches and is in excellent condition!  

Do you know the difference between a handbag and a purse? Many people use the terms interchangeably, but actually, there is a difference.  A client of mine, whose parents owned a high end handbag manufacturing company once corrected me very early in my career as a vintage clothing dealer and I've tried to remember what she said ever since!  A handbag is a bag used to hold a variety of items including things like your brush, comb, wallet, etc.. A purse is a small bag used to carry only money and credit cards.  Though the masses might not know the difference, I think it's always nice to know the correct terms!
