Kudos to the French. This full-length canvas coat was a fantastic idea. The fabric has the density of a canvas tarp. It has trench coat details such as a collar, epaulets, wrist tab with buckles; but it is a wide coat like a cape. The buckles have France engraved on them and the buttons read Paris on the back. It was initially made to wear over winter clothing, to act as an outer protector, and man does it. This is a classic Coat, with leg loops inside, and a 20" pleat for easy movement and seating.
These Jackets are in unissued condition = they have never been worn!
