Advice for Trail Runners: Are you ready to run faster on trails with the Nike Women's Ultrafly trail running shoes? Featuring Nike's incredible ZoomX foam and a carbon Flyplate, these trail running shoes offer astonishing levels of energy return.
Underfoot Feel
We've seen ZoomX foam in Nike trail running shoes, but we've not seen it with a carbon fibre plate - until now. The Nike Women's Ultrafly features a carbon Flyplate in a thick layer of ZoomX foam. The result is lots of shock absorption and even more propulsion.
Each step on off-road terrain can be different from the last. As a result, the Nike Ultrafly offers stability on uneven terrain through specific midsole shaping. With a flat bottom and minimised lateral rocker, you should feel stable over uneven ground.
In order to help you cover long distances in even more comfort, a heel-to-toe rocker smooths out transitions.
Nike opted for Vibram Litebase to deliver best in class performance on trail terrain. Known for its ability to grip on wet and dry surfaces, the Vibram outsole offers maximum confidence for your off-road races. With chevrons that point in opposing directions, the outsole lugs should enhance traction on uphills and downhills.
Upper Fit
It's not just the midsole that make these feel fast. The Vaporweave upper of the Nike Women's Ultrafly trail running shoes should feel very light and breathable. Although, a supportive midfoot band increases stability on technical terrain.
Ideal Run Type
The Nike Women's Ultrafly trail running shoes feature ZoomX foam and a carbon Flyplate to help you run faster in off-road races. With its propulsive qualities, it's likely that these will save you energy over the course of a trail running race. As a result, you should be able to push harder for longer and get closer to your limit.
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
